Stick telemetry
Stick health check
Leave the sticks untouched, then calibrate. The result measures the signal exposed by your browser.
Circle test
Choose a stick, click start, then rotate it around the edge once. The result is an estimate based on radius consistency and angle coverage.

What is a gamepad tester?
Gamepad Tester is a free browser-based tool for checking whether a USB or Bluetooth controller is sending the inputs you expect. Connect the gamepad in Windows, macOS, or Linux first, then press a button to wake the browser Gamepad API. The live tester shows buttons, D-pad directions, analog sticks, trigger travel, drift, jitter, deadzone reference, circle coverage, supported vibration, and raw mapping data. It works with many Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and generic PC controllers. Results describe the signal exposed by your browser, so they do not replace a hardware repair tool or firmware calibration utility. If your controller is not detected, try USB, close Steam Input, and reload the page in desktop Chrome or Edge.
One controller. Every signal.
Use the full bench for a quick check, or open a focused diagnostic when you need a deeper answer.
Stick drift test
Measure stick center offset, deadzone, jitter and unwanted movement.
Open tool →02Gamepad calibration
Set a browser-side center reference and check stick range without changing controller firmware.
Open tool →03Button test
Check every button, D-pad direction, bumper and trigger response.

Everything happens inside your browser. Connect the controller in your operating system first; this site does not pair Bluetooth or install drivers.
Start testing →Connect first
Pair Bluetooth or plug in USB through Windows, macOS or Linux.
Press any button
Browsers usually wake the Gamepad API after your first input.

Common questions
Why is my controller not detected?+
Connect the controller before opening the page, then press any button or move a stick. If it still does not appear, try a USB cable, close Steam or other controller software, and reload the browser.
Does this work with PS5, Xbox and Switch?+
Many modern Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro and generic USB or Bluetooth controllers expose standard inputs through the Gamepad API. The operating system must connect the controller first; this site cannot pair Bluetooth or install drivers.
Why does vibration not work?+
Rumble support depends on your browser, operating system, connection type and controller. Chrome or Edge on Windows typically provide the broadest support.
Can this prove that my controller is broken?+
No. The tester shows the signals exposed by your browser. It is useful for finding dead buttons, stick drift and missing rumble, but results can vary by browser, operating system, connection and driver.
