Plug in or pair your controller, press a button, then leave both joysticks untouched. Click Calibrate center so the test can compare later readings with the controller's resting signal.

Watch the signal

Center offset shows how far the reported stick position sits from its reference. Jitter shows small fluctuations while the joystick is still. A moving value at rest is the clearest sign of drift.

Check the range

Run the circle test and rotate one stick around its edge. Angle coverage and radius consistency help separate a center problem from a limited or uneven analog range.
