CONTROLLER LIBRARY

Find your controller. Know what works.

Use the live gamepad tester first, then check how a controller connects, what the browser exposes and which limitations to expect.

COMPATIBILITY DATABASE

Practical answers before you troubleshoot.

These profiles are written for browser testing: connection type, protocol, expected inputs, rumble behavior and common mapping surprises. A profile is a starting point, not a promise that every revision behaves identically.

HOW TO USE THIS LIBRARY

Start with the live signal

  1. Connect the controller in Windows, macOS or Linux.
  2. Open the gamepad tester and press a button.
  3. Compare the reported name, mapping, button count and axes with the closest profile.
  4. Use the profile quirks before deciding that a missing feature means a broken controller.
WHAT THE BROWSER CAN'T PROVE

Compatibility is not a hardware certificate

The standard Gamepad API does not expose every vendor feature. Adaptive triggers, motion sensors, touchpad coordinates, firmware state and exact hardware polling rate may require a vendor app or device-specific tool.
