Browser-side diagnostic only. Connect the controller in your operating system first; this page cannot pair Bluetooth or install drivers. Results depend on the browser, operating system, connection and controller mapping.

WHAT IT CHECKS

Measure the signal, not the guess

Check whether your controller's supported haptic feedback responds to light, heavy and burst rumble patterns.

  • Light, heavy and burst rumble patterns
  • Browser vibration actuator availability
  • USB and Bluetooth rumble differences
  • Controller and operating system support
HOW TO GET A CLEAN RESULT

Test conditions matter

Use a wired connection when possible, close other controller software, and press a button after the device is connected.

  • Use Chrome or Edge on desktop for broad support.
  • Try USB when Bluetooth rumble is missing.
  • Close Steam or other software that may own the controller.
Privacy by design: input data is read and processed locally by your browser. It is not uploaded to a server.
FAQ

Questions about this test

Why does button testing work but vibration does not?+

Button data and rumble output have different browser and driver support. A controller can be readable while its vibration actuator is unavailable to the page.

Does this test PS5 adaptive triggers?+

The standard browser Gamepad API may expose trigger travel, but it does not universally control adaptive trigger resistance. This page focuses on rumble feedback.

Is vibration guaranteed to work?+

No. Browser, operating system, connection type and controller support all affect rumble. This tool reports whether the browser exposes a vibration actuator.
