Nintendo Switch Pro Controller compatibility and test guide.
A full-size Nintendo controller with motion hardware, HD rumble and a familiar A/B/X/Y layout.
Some browsers and games normalize the Nintendo layout; others expose the physical button order. Use the live button matrix to verify it.

Stick telemetry
Stick health check
Leave the sticks untouched, then calibrate. The result measures the signal exposed by your browser.
Circle test
Choose a stick, click start, then rotate it around the edge once. The result is an estimate based on radius consistency and angle coverage.

{"status":"waiting_for_controller"}Browser-side diagnostic only. Connect the controller in your operating system first; this page cannot pair Bluetooth or install drivers. Results depend on the browser, operating system, connection and controller mapping.
What the tester should show
- A/B/X/Y
- D-pad
- L/R
- ZL/ZR
- Two sticks
- Home/Capture
Press each control on the full gamepad tester. The button matrix and raw API panel are more reliable than a brand label when a controller is in a different mode.
What may not appear
- Rumble may be available
- Motion and NFC are outside this tester
Rumble is an optional browser capability. A missing rumble button does not by itself prove that the motor is damaged.
Before calling it broken
- The A/B and X/Y labels can feel reversed when a browser or game uses an Xbox-style logical mapping.
- Bluetooth support can differ between browsers.
